I like the weekend events, but don't need them every weekend.

I'm on Euro servers and I only remember one serious network problem, and this one was the provider's fault (NCsoft servers became unreachable for some obscure reason for most of a sunday, in France, Switzerland and Italia, for that provider only). So I would guess the posters with errors have a problem on their end, or somewhere on the wires leading to their homes.

something that just hit me - while i mostly dont care if weekend events happen - theres exactly one reason why i might want them to stop.
if the weekend events take so much of anets time that they are unable to fix this game - then by all means stop them! if they are just lazy and they dont want to fix the game - then i dont mind the events.

I like the idea... but they aren't actually putting thought into them IMO.

Same things over and over, limiting people from one area of the game to the next. Even though the PvE to PvP population is about 80%-20% it seems insanely biased. Like the double chap point weekend... like 40 guilds could get these points? so like about 10%(huge exaggeration here) of the entire guildwars population had a chance? No offence congrats to all those who have obtained its just like, top 500 guilds couldn't even get the damn points, and PvE got bit in the rear end again.

Just to put your mind at rest, I doubt that the team in charge of doing weekend events is in charge of bug fixes. I mean, if there's a bug in the weekend events, sure I think that the team in charge of these events would be the ones to fix it. But there's other teams allocated to the rest of the game, so weekend events wouldn't have much affect.

Please keep the event weekends but lock the ladder when you test new classes or make major skill updates. Otherwise there will probably be more ladder resets in the future. Other than that keep the weekends coming!

Manchester, UK. EU server, I had a bit of error40,13 during the event, but nothing that stop me from playing really. Apart from the guild server down or bug most of the time but that was it, people still log on and play as normal.
